Canyon Park, a neighborhood within the Bothell city limits, has approximately 4,709 residents and is considered to be a “very livable” neighborhood according to AreaVibes. The website gave the area an “A+” score for local amenities, a “B+” for crime and a “B”for education. The only downside was a grade of “F” for the cost of living since it 12% higher than the average of Washington state. Walkscore.com gave the neighborhood a Walk Score of 37 making it the 4th most walkable neighborhood in Bothell.
Canyon Park is surrounded by familiar chain restaurants like Red Robin, Applebees, Outback Steakhouse and local chains like Ivar’s Seafood Bar and The Rock Wood Fired Kitchen. Restaurants worth noting include Lombardi’s Italian (19409 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bothell 98012) which features a wine bar and patio seating during the warmer days and a warm, comfortable setting indoors during the colder months), the simple yet elegant Russell’s Restaurant & Loft (3305 Monte Villa Pkwy, Bothell 98021) which serves Pacific Northwest styled food in a converted barn with a cathedral ceiling and Viva Jalisco Mexican (1715 228th St. SE, Bothell 98021) which is a cozy spot that ranks high in terms of quality of their enchiladas, fajitas and margaritas.
